Twenty-something medical school applicant. I was described in a local newspaper as a burly, soft-spoken young man. The newspaper was reporting on our medical-humanitarian project in Iquiots Peru. I am an obsessive music collecter. In the state of Utah it is very hard to come by obscure titles or lost classics. The whole new wierd America or freak-folk or the family or the psychfolk or whatever you wanna call it has been a blossoming area of music for me. I am a archivist of sound, objects, field recordings, etc. Utah has a very rich backwards folky thing to it. The mormons have sort of left their heritage behind, at least the mysterious parts, which makes for some very interesting culture finds. Good places to start is the movie Plan 10 from Outer Space, and Rubin and Ed. Both done by Trent Harris a local Utahn who once worked for CBS and National Geographic. It is very wierd none mormon look at mormonism and utah. Rubin and Ed also stars Crispin Glover. I love books music and movies and medicine, in the most humanitarian sense you can conjure. I make for an intersting encounter, I am a six-foot-three-inch 245lb. young man with a very stalky athletic build, i.e. football player, however I am a scientist and uber-music-fil-book-geek. I live in a chaos type mindset and mystify with the dwelling of magic, culture, shamanism, occultism, folkism. I believe in a cultural renaissance of the collective (in the jazz band sense not stalin-like), which I think is undergoing a major transformation.
